Toyota Kirloskar Motor has officially announced substantial price reductions across its entire passenger vehicle line-up, following the Indian government's GST rate cut on cars. Effective September 22, 2025, these price adjustments aim to transfer the full benefit of the tax reform directly to customers. From entry-level hatchbacks to flagship SUVs, every segment sees a significant price drop.
Why Toyota Has Reduced Prices
The recent GST reform simplifies the tax structure for passenger vehicles, effectively lowering the overall tax burden. This move is expected to stimulate automobile sales, particularly in the mid- and high-end segments. Toyota, which has a strong presence in MPVs and SUVs, was quick to revise its ex-showroom prices to stay competitive and transparent.

Toyota Glanza: Price reductions range from Rs 59,700 on the base E MT to Rs 85,300 on the top V AMT variant.
Urban Cruiser Taisor: The compact SUV now starts Rs 67,300 lower, with the top-spec turbo automatic Rs 1.11 lakh cheaper.
Rumion MPV: Targeted at budget-conscious families, prices are down by Rs 34,000-48,700, making it an even more appealing alternative to the Maruti Ertiga.
Mid-Size SUV Savings: Urban Cruiser Hyryder
The Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Toyota's hybrid-powered SUV, also benefits from the GST reduction. Also, petrol and CNG variants see cuts of Rs 39,200-65,000, depending on the trim.
Hybrid models receive slightly lower reductions, at around Rs 20,000 less compared to their petrol counterparts.
This move is expected to attract environmentally conscious buyers looking for efficiency without compromising on features.
MPVs Take a Leap: Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross
Two of Toyota's best-selling MPVs are now significantly more affordable:
Innova Crysta: Price reductions range from Rs 1.33 lakh on the GX trims to Rs 1.81 lakh for the ZX 7S variant.
Innova Hycross: The petrol-powered GX trims are cheaper by Rs 1.03-1.16 lakh, while the hybrid VX and ZX variants see savings between Rs 56,000-68,000. These reductions will likely strengthen Toyota's already dominant position in the MPV segment.
Big SUV and Pickup Discounts: Fortuner, Hilux, and Land Cruiser LC 300
The largest price drops are reserved for Toyota's rugged SUVs and pickups:
Fortuner: Savings start at Rs 2.40 lakh for the base petrol variant and go up to Rs 3.49 lakh for the GRS.
Hilux Pickup: Reduced by Rs 2.38-2.53 lakh, this makes the Hilux a more attractive choice for lifestyle buyers and businesses.
Land Cruiser LC 300: With a Rs 15.40-16.07 lakh reduction, Toyota's flagship SUV becomes significantly more attainable for luxury buyers.
Premium Sedans and MPVs: Camry and Vellfire
Toyota hasn't left out its luxury-focused models:
Camry: Both Elegant and Sprint variants are now Rs 1.02 lakh cheaper, maintaining its stronghold as a premium hybrid sedan.
Vellfire: The Hi variant is Rs 2.57 lakh less expensive, while the VIP trim drops by Rs 2.78 lakh, reinforcing its value among luxury MPVs.
