Toyota C-HR+ Electric SUV Revealed - Two Battery Packs, 600km Range
The Toyota C-HR+ SUV will feature two battery options: 57.7kWh and 77kWh, providing a range of up to 600km. The all-electric C-HR+ was initially showcased as a concept in 2022 and is set to launch in select European markets by the end of the year. It will join Toyota's lineup alongside the larger bZ4X and the newly introduced Urban Cruiser EV.
The C-HR+ will be available in both front-wheel-drive (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) versions. The FWD model with a 57.7kWh battery will deliver 167hp, while the 77kWh battery variant will offer 224hp for FWD and 343hp for AWD. This new BEV is built on the e-TNGA platform, which also supports the bZ4X SUV.

Toyota C-HR+ EV Design and Features
The production version of the C-HR+ retains many design elements from its concept, including a distinctive 'hammerhead’ front-end design and a sloping roofline. However, unlike the concept, it does not feature connected front lights. The vehicle measures 4,520mm in length, positioning it above the Urban Cruiser EV in Toyota's lineup.
Inside, the C-HR+ offers a range of features such as a 14-inch touchscreen display, dual wireless smartphone chargers, rear AC controls, ambient lighting, and a panoramic roof. Despite being an electric vehicle (EV), Toyota has opted to include numerous physical buttons in the cabin for ease of use.
Battery Options and Charging Capabilities
The C-HR+ supports DC fast charging up to 150kW. Standard models come with an 11kW charger, while high-spec versions include a more powerful 22kW charger. These charging options ensure quick recharging times for users on the go.
In terms of safety features, Toyota has equipped all variants of the C-HR+ with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This includes blind-spot monitoring and adaptive high-beam headlights as standard features across all models. Higher-end variants also offer park assist and panoramic view monitoring for added convenience.
Positioning and Market Plans
Toyota plans to introduce six electric vehicles by 2026 in international markets. The C-HR+, with its extended wheelbase of 2,750mm, promises more cabin space compared to its competitors. Although specific width and height dimensions have not been disclosed yet, this EV is expected to provide ample room for passengers.
The Toyota C-HR+ aims to cater to diverse customer needs with its multiple drivetrain options and advanced features. As part of Toyota’s broader strategy to expand its electric vehicle offerings globally, this model represents a significant step forward in their commitment to sustainable mobility solutions.
