Toyota Camry Sprint Edition Launched At ₹48.50 Lakh - Dual-Tone Colours, Body Kit & More
Japanese carmaker Toyota has launched the Camry Sprint Edition in India. Priced at ₹48.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the Toyota Camry Sprint is based on the Elegance variant level but adds a dealer-fitted body kit at no extra cost..
On the outside, the Camry Sprint Edition features a bolder look thanks to the new body kit. The Toyota Camry Sprint Edition's Edition's bonnet, roof, and boot are finished off in matte black, giving the sedan a rather sporty look.
The Camry Sprint Edition is offered in five colour combinations. Emotional Red, Platinum White Pearl, Cement Grey, Precious Metal, and Dark Blue Metallic.All these colour options feature the blacked out bonnet, roof and boot along with revised front and rear ends,a discreet rear spoiler, and matte black alloy wheels.
Inside, the Sprint Edition retains the plush layout we've come to see with the ninth-generation Camry. The Sprint Edition's interior features a fully digital driver's display, three-zone automatic climate control, a 10-inch head-up display and wireless smartphone connectivity. The infotainment system features a 12.3-inch touchscreen system paired with a nine-speaker JBL premium audio system.
Other highlights of the Camry Sprint Edition include ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, a door warning lamp, a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat with memory function, paddle shifters, a wireless charger, and a heads-up display.
The safety kit is carried over from the regular Camry. The Sprint Edition gets Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and pre-collision systems. The Sprint Edition also gets a 360-degree camera, nine airbags, traction control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system as standard.
Under the bonnet, the Camry Sprint Edition features the same Toyota 2.5-litre strong-hybrid powertrain as the regular Camry. The Camry Sprint's hybrid setup features an Atkinson Cycle engine, combined with the electric motor that together produce around 230 horsepower. The hybrid system is paired with an e-CVT gearbox. The Camry delivers a mileage of 25.49 kmpl and a claimed 0-100 kmph sprint time of 7.2 seconds.
The Sprint Edition is offered with an eight-year or 1,60,000 km warranty on the hybrid battery. Bookings for the Toyota Camry Sprint Edition are open both online and at authorised Toyota outlets across the country.
