2026 Toyota C-HR BEV Unveiled: 338bhp, 467km Range
Toyota has unveiled the 2026 model year C-HR battery electric vehicle for the American car market. The MY 2026 Toyota CH-R features a more coupe-inspied design and all-wheel -drive across the range.
Boasting 338 horsepower, the new 2026 CH-R accelerates from 0-60mph (0-97.5km/h)in just about 5 seconds. The C-HR BEV's battery, a 74.7 kW unit, promises a substantial 290-mile range on a single charge. It supports fast charging, capable of reaching from 10% to 80% in roughly 30 minutes under optimal conditions. Furthermore, it features a North American Charging System (NACS) port alongside Plug & Charge technology for hassle-free charging from AC power sources.

The CH-R's e-TNGA battery electric vehicle platform lays the foundation for its wide stance and smooth body lines, emphasizing a fun driving experience. Its design, reminiscent of a coupe, offers both a stylish exterior and a spacious interior, with up to 719 litres of cargo space, making it a highly versatile compact crossover.It ensures ample room inside, with significant headroom and cabin space for passengers.
