Tickets Now Available For The WOMAC 2025 Fundraiser Supporting Cancer Charities

Tickets are now available for the Women On the Move Against Cancer (WOMAC) 2025 Fundraiser, set for Tuesday, 17 June at The Kia Oval from 6pm. This annual event unites automotive industry professionals to support cancer charities. This year, proceeds will benefit BRIGHT Cancer Care and Skcin. Attendees can participate in a raffle and tombola with prizes ranging from branded items to weekend getaways.

BRIGHT Cancer Care is dedicated to funding research and acquiring new equipment for treating gastrointestinal (GI) and hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) cancers. Their efforts aim to enhance treatment options and outcomes for patients. Meanwhile, Skcin focuses on preventing skin cancer through education on prevention methods and early detection strategies.

About WOMAC

Women On the Move Against Cancer (WOMAC) was founded in 1979 by female volunteers in the automotive sector. Their mission is to support various projects aimed at finding better cancer treatments and improving the lives of those affected by cancer, including their families and carers.

More About BRIGHT Cancer Care

BRIGHT supports clinical and research work at St Luke’s Cancer Centre and the HPB Surgery Unit at Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. They focus on advancing treatments like surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy, and other innovative therapies for GI and HPB cancers.

Skcin's Mission

Skcin aims to raise awareness about skin cancer through educational initiatives targeting high-risk groups. They also work on national accreditation schemes to promote prevention and early detection while campaigning for impactful changes that save lives.

The WOMAC Fundraiser offers an opportunity to make a difference by supporting these vital causes.
