Tata Winger Plus 9-Seater Van Launched at ₹20.60 Lakh - Reclining Captain Seats, Monocoque Chassis

Tata Motors has launched the all-new Winger Plus van in India at ₹20.60 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The Tata Winger Plus van has been designed for staff transportation and the growing travel & tourism segment

The Tata Winger Plus gets a fresh design and a monocoque chassis, aiming to deliver better comfort and stability compared to traditional ladder-frame vans. The Interior of the Winger Plus includes nine reclining captain seats with adjustable armrests, individual AC vents, USB charging points, and plenty of legroom.

The Tata Winger Plus draws power from a familiar 2.2-litre Dicor diesel engine. The Winger Plus' engine produces 100 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque. The Winger Plus' engine is tuned for efficiency and durability, which makes it well-suited for high-mileage fleet operations.

Ride quality is another focus area for the Tata Winger Plus. The monocoque body construction, according to Tata Motors, gives the Winger Plus car-like handling while reducing body roll. For drivers who spend long hours on the road, this should help reduce fatigue and make journeys more comfortable.

Tata has also added its Fleet Edge telematics platform to the Winger Plus. The Tata Fleet Plus platform allows operators to track vehicle performance, run diagnostics, and monitor efficiency in real time.

The Winger Plus, like other vehicles from Tata's commercial vehicles wing, benefits from Sampoorna Seva 2.0 - Tata Motors' holistic vehicle lifecycle management initiative that covers guaranteed turnaround times, annual maintenance contracts (AMC), access to genuine spare parts and reliable breakdown assistance and allows access to a network of over 4,500 sales and service touchpoints across India.

Speaking at the launch, Anand S, Vice President and Head of the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Business at Tata Motors, explained the thoughts behind the Winger Plus: "The Winger Plus has been designed to raise the bar in passenger comfort while giving operators real value. From spacious captain seats to low running costs, it is built to work hard and still make every journey feel premium."
