The Tata Sierra SUV has made its comeback following its unveiling. Tata Motors is set to launch the iconic SUV on November 25, 2025, and it will be a more futuristic car, yet carrying the same DNA of its first-ever model launched back in 1991. Check out the top 5 highlights from the unveil.

1. Iconic and Modern exteriors
The new Sierra SUV features both traditional and modern design. The same boxy design has returned, but with modern elements such as gloss-black LED headlamps with Connected DRLs, a Clamshell bonnet, a Silver Skid plate, Flush Door handles, 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, connected tail lamps, and a large roof spoiler.
2. Plush Cabin experience
Sierra will be considered as one of Tata's premium SUVs, and to justify that, the brand has worked on its interiors and cabin quality. It has a triple-screen setup with a panoramic display, a panoramic sunroof, a premium dashboard, dual-tone interiors with ventilated front seats, and a 4 Spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo.
3. Rich in Tech
Apart from the 12.3-inch triple-screen setup, it also gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Ambient Lighting, Autodimming IRVMs, Push start button, Floating centre console, steering-mounted controls, hidden wipers, 12-speaker JBL audio setup with Dolby Atmos, powered tail gate, and a Sleek E-shifter.
4. Values Safety
The Tata Sierra is equipped with almost every modern safety feature, including 6 airbags, electronic parking brake, traction control, hill hold assist, and ABS with ESC. It is also expected to come with Level 2 ADAS safety, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera system. We expect Tata Sierra to bag a 5-star rating in both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP.
5. Multiple Powertrain Options
Tata will launch this car with both ICE and EV versions. The ICE versions include a 1.5-litre TGDi turbo petrol engine and a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine. The EV version is expected to have a range of 500 to 550km and will use the same battery pack as the Herrier EV.
Price expectations
We will know the prices of the new Sierra SUV on November 25th, but we expect it to be priced around 17 lakhs (ex-showroom) for ICE variants, and the EV variant prices are expected to start around 21 lakhs (ex-showroom).
