Tata Sierra Bookings Open; Deliveries To Begin In January 2026
Tata Motors has officially opened bookings for the Sierra compact SUV in India. The booking amount is set at ₹21,000, and deliveries are expected to begin in January 2026. Revived with a modern design, stylish elements, and premium features, the new Sierra blends nostalgia with futuristic appeal.
Tata Sierra SUV Details
The Tata Sierra is priced from ₹11.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant, while the top-end Accomplished Plus Diesel variant is priced at ₹21.29 lakh (ex-showroom). It is offered with three powertrain options, three transmission choices, and six trim levels.

Powertrain and Mileage
The 1.5L Revotron Naturally Aspirated Petrol engine produces 106 PS of power and 145 Nm of torque, mated with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCA gearbox. The 1.5L TGDi Hyperion Turbo Petrol engine produces 160 PS of power and 255 Nm of torque, and comes with only the 6 Speed CVT gearbox.
The third and final powertrain, the 1.5L Kryojet CRDi Diesel, produces 118 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque and is mated with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AT (CVT). The 1.5L Hyperion Turbo Petrol has recorded an impressive mileage of 29.99 km/l during controlled testing at NATRAX.

In terms of features, the Tata Sierra sets a new benchmark in the compact SUV segment. It offers a segment-first horizontal triple-screen infotainment setup powered by Dolby Atmos, paired with a 13-speaker JBL audio system with Harman Audio.
