Tata Motors has reignited nostalgia with the launch of its iconic mid-size SUV, the Sierra. Marking its grand comeback, the legendary car now blends heritage with cutting-edge innovation, offering a host of class-leading comforts and segment-first technologies. From premium luxury to advanced connected features, the new Sierra sets a new benchmark in the segment.
Tata Sierra SUV Segment-First Features
Iconic Glass House Returns
Sierra is the only vehicle in the entire mid-size SUV segment coming with a glasshouse cabin. The design was inspired by the original Sierra, which had a large blacked-out glass house and a three-door layout.
To make it more practical and user-friendly, Tata Motors wrapped glass around the B-pillar and retained the glasshouse for the 5-door variant. The second and third-row passengers can now enjoy the glasshouse view without worrying about ingress and egress.
'Theatre Pro' Triple screen
Tata Motors is the first brand to bring a triple-screen setup in the ICE category. They call it 'Theatre Pro', which has a triple-screen setup that includes a twin infotainment system with a digital instrument cluster. It is powered by Dolby Atmos and JBL-Harman speakers. Sierra is also the first car to have a separate screen for co-side passengers, where they can enjoy their favourite TV shows or play video games without disturbing the driver and the rear passengers.
AR HUD Pro
The Sierra comes with a 'HypAR HUD' with multicoloured guides. This heads-up display offers 19 different visuals with multiple colours, so that the driver gets all the driving information and essential data, such as directions, arrows, and field guidance, within their line of sight. It minimises head movement and improves relaxation for the drivers. It also comes with 4 distinct display modes: Standard, Immersive, Personal and Snow.
Welcoming LED headlights
The Tata Sierra is equipped with new Saber LED DRLs that feature welcome and goodbye functions. It also gets the same Saber LED taillights and a hidden rear wiper with a washer. Additionally, it is equipped with a Night Saber Bi-LED headlamp, which provides more brightness at night.
Superior seat comfort with thigh adjust
The interior of the new Sierra SUV is crafted from premium materials, offering a superior and luxurious feel within its segment. The white and black upholstery blends with the car, creating a more spacious and airy feel.
The rear seat comfort is top-notch, with a thigh support extender, and the large panoramic sunroof enhances the view of the outside world. Additionally, it features a Boss mode, which pushes the front passenger seats even further, providing more leg room.
