Tata Punch Achieves Sales Growth In Indian Micro SUV Market
The Tata Punch has become a prominent choice in the Indian micro SUV segment. In March 2025, Tata Motors reported selling 17,714 units of the Punch. This marks a slight increase from March 2024, where sales were 17,547 units, reflecting a 1% growth. The Punch secured the third spot among the top-selling cars in March 2025, just behind Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Swift.
Hyundai Creta led the sales with 18,059 units sold in March 2025. Maruti Suzuki Swift followed closely with 17,746 units. The Tata Punch was not far behind, with only 345 fewer units sold than the Creta and just 32 fewer than the Swift. This close competition highlights the Punch's strong market presence.

The electric version of the Tata Punch starts at Rs. 9.99 lakhs, with the top variant priced at Rs. 14.29 lakhs. Equipped with a 35 kWh battery, it provides a maximum range of 421 km on a single charge. These prices are ex-showroom rates, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers.
