2025 Tata Nexon Gets ADAS, New Red Dark Edition Launched
Tata Motors has refreshed the 2025 Nexon lineup with the introduction of level-1 ADAS and a new Red Dark edition, priced from ₹12.44 lakh (ex-showroom). The update to the Tata Nexon adds Level 1 advanced driver assistance technology to its equipment list.
The Level 1 ADAS system is available on the top-end Fearless Plus S variant of the Tat Nexon equipped with the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and 7-speed DCT gearbox. Priced ₹26,000 higher than the non-ADAS version, this marks the first time the Nexon has featured advanced driver aids.

The ADAS suite on the Tata Nexon includes lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, front collision warning, high-beam assist, traffic sign recognition, and autonomous emergency braking.
In addition to the ADAS upgrade, Tata has launched the new Nexon Red Dark edition, extending the design treatment previously reserved for the Nexon EV. This version is also based on the Fearless Plus S trim and carries a premium of up to ₹28,000 over the standard model.

The Nexon Red Dark edition features an all-black exterior finish complemented by gloss-black badges, dark alloy wheels, and a Red Dark emblem on the fenders. The cabin follows the same dark theme, adding red seat upholstery, red stitching, and unique display graphics across both the infotainment and driver screens.
Inside, the Red Dark edition offers the same premium equipment as the top-spec variants. Highlights include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a nine-speaker JBL audio system, wireless phone charging, and a keyless start system. Rear passengers now benefit from added comfort features such as integrated sunshades, borrowed from the Nexon EV, along with updated seat cushioning and better sound insulation.
The new Nexon continues to offer a host of other safety features, including six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and a 360-degree camera system now part of the package.
The 2025 Tata Nexon continues to be offered with three engine choices: a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 1.5-litre diesel, and a 1.2-litre CNG unit. Power outputs range from 100 PS in the CNG version to 120 PS in the turbo-petrol, while the peak torque figures span from 170 Nm to 260 Nm depending on the chosen engine. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed DCT.
