Tata Motors Price Cut Details: New Price & Price Reduction Details Here
Tata Motors has announced a major price cut across its passenger vehicle lineup, effective September 22. The move comes as the automaker passes on the full benefit of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) reduction to its customers. Depending on the model, buyers can now save anywhere between Rs 75,000 and Rs 1.55 lakh, making Tata's cars and SUVs more accessible and competitive in their respective segments.
Among small cars, the Tata Tiago now starts at Rs 4.99 lakh after a price reduction of Rs 75,000, while the Tigor compact sedan is priced at Rs 5.99 lakh following an Rs 80,000 cut. The Altroz premium hatchback sees one of the biggest reductions in this category, with prices slashed by Rs 1.10 lakh, bringing its new retail price down to Rs 6.89 lakh.

In the compact SUV space, two of Tata's bestsellers - Punch and Nexon - are now significantly more affordable. The Punch gets an Rs 85,000 reduction, lowering its starting price to Rs 6.19 lakh, while the Nexon sees the steepest overall cut of Rs 1.55 lakh, with a new retail price of Rs 7.99 lakh. The upcoming Tata Curvv midsize SUV also benefits from a Rs 65,000 reduction, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh.
Moving to the premium SUV category, the flagship Harrier and Safari also receive major price corrections. The Harrier is now available at Rs 14.99 lakh after a Rs 1.40 lakh reduction, while the Safari drops by Rs 1.45 lakh to start at Rs 15.49 lakh.
