Tata Harrier & Safari SUVs Adventure X Variants Launched - Prices Start At Rs 18.99 Lakh
Tata Motors has introduced the Adventure X variants for its Harrier and Safari SUVs, simplifying their lineup. Prices for the Harrier Adventure X variants start at Rs 18.99 lakh while the Safari Adventure X+ is priced at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom)
Both the Harrier and Safari come in six main variants. The Harrier's new Adventure X and Adventure X Plus are positioned between the Pure X and Fearless X trims, while the Safari's Adventure X Plus sits between Pure X and Accomplished X.

Currently, Tata Motors has disclosed only the prices for the manual versions of these models. The automatic variant prices will be updated later. For the Harrier, the Smart variant is priced at Rs 15 lakh, Pure X at Rs 17.99 lakh, Adventure X at Rs 18.99 lakh, Adventure X Plus at Rs 19.34 lakh, Fearless X at Rs 22.34 lakh, and Fearless X Plus at Rs 24.44 lakh.
Meanwhile, the Safari's Smart variant costs Rs 15.50 lakh, Pure X is Rs 18.49 lakh, Adventure X Plus is Rs 19.99 lakh, Accomplished X is Rs 23.09 lakh, Accomplished X Plus (7-seater) is Rs 25.09 lakh, and Accomplished X Plus (6-seater) is Rs 25.19 lakh.
Features of Adventure X Variants
The new trim levels offer several features across both SUVs. The Harrier's Adventure X comes with 17-inch monotone alloy wheels while the Safari's version gets 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Inside both vehicles are black leatherette seats with tan accents and a four-spoke steering wheel featuring an illuminated 'Tata' logo.
Both SUVs include a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof and a driver seat that adjusts in six ways for added comfort. They also have a digital driver's display measuring 10.25 inches and terrain modes such as Normal, Rough, and Wet for varied driving conditions.
The infotainment system in both models features a touchscreen measuring 10.25 inches for easy access to media controls. Safety-wise, they are equipped with a 360-degree camera system, rain-sensing wipers, six airbags for passenger protection, an Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), all-four disc brakes@ , Level-2 ADAS*, electronic parking brake@ , and ESP with driver attentiveness alert@ .
The powertrain remains unchanged for these SUVs; they continue to use a robust 2-litre diesel engine delivering up to 170 PS of power and generating torque of about 350 Nm through either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission setup.
Competition
In terms of competition within their respective segments: The Tata Harrier faces off against rivals like Jeep Compass along with MG Hector as well as certain versions from Hyundai Creta & Kia Seltos lineups; whereas its sibling model -the Safari- competes against Mahindra’s offerings such as Mahindra Scorpio N/XUV700 besides MG Hector Plus & Hyundai Alcazar options available on market shelves today.
