The Tata Harrier EV has been introduced as the latest addition to Tata Motors' electric vehicle lineup, priced at ₹21.50 lakh ex-showroom. This model serves as the flagship for their electric range. Meanwhile, the Tata Curvv EV, launched in 2024, is available at ₹21.99 lakh for its top variant, Empowered Plus 55 A.

While both vehicles are positioned closely in terms of pricing, they cater to different audiences. The Harrier EV is aimed at those seeking a robust SUV experience, whereas the Curvv EV appeals to buyers interested in a futuristic design and advanced technology features.

The Harrier EV stands out with its larger dimensions compared to the Curvv EV. It measures 4,607 mm in length, 1,922 mm in width, and 1,740 mm in height. In contrast, the Curvv EV is smaller at 4,310 mm long, 1,810 mm wide, and 1,637 mm tall. The Harrier's wheelbase of 2,741 mm offers more interior space than the Curvv's 2,560 mm.

Both models provide similar boot capacities around 500 litres; however, the Harrier slightly edges out with a total of 502 litres. Additionally, it boasts a more practical front trunk (frunk) with a capacity of 67 litres compared to the Curvv's modest 11.6 litres.

The Harrier EV Adventure variant features a powerful rear-mounted electric motor driven by a 65 kWh battery pack that delivers an impressive output of 238 PS. On the other hand, the Curvv EV Empowered Plus A comes with a smaller 55 kWh battery and front-wheel drive layout producing 167 PS and torque of 215 Nm.

Although official range figures for the Harrier's smaller battery are not yet available, its larger version claims up to 627 km (MIDC). The Curvv offers a respectable range of up to 502 km on full charge. Charging times differ too; while Harrier supports fast charging from 20% to 80% within approximately 25 minutes using a DC charger rated at 120 kW capacity; meanwhile Curvev takes about 40 minutes using 70kW fast charger from 10% to 80% charge level.
