Tata Harrier EV QWD Launched At Rs 28.99 Lakh, Features, And Specs You Should Know
Tata Motors has launched the Harrier EV QWD, priced at Rs. 28.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This model, featuring Quad Wheel Drive technology, achieved a five-star rating in the BNCAP crash test and is the first all-wheel drive Tata vehicle since Safari Strome, which was discontinued in 2020.
The Tata Harrier EV QWD is powered by a 75kWh battery pak that delivers a claimed MIDC range of 622km. The battery pack powers a dual-motor setup that develops 313hp and 504Nm of peak torque. With Boost Mode activated, the Tata Harrier EV QWD can sprint from 0-100km in just 6.3 seconds.

Tata Harrier EV Specs & Features
The Harrier EV's exterior design aligns with Tata's other electric vehicles while retaining elements from the facelifted Harrier available since 2023. It sports a closed-off grille and a redesigned bumper with line-based aesthetics. The side profile features new 19-inch aero-optimised alloy wheels and 'EV' badges on the front doors. At the rear, 'Harrier.EV' lettering distinguishes it from its ICE counterpart.
Inside, the Harrier EV maintains similarities with its internal combustion engine version but introduces advanced technology. A standout feature is the world-first Samsung Neo QLED 14.53-inch infotainment screen atop the dual-tone dashboard. Additionally, there's a 10.25-inch digital driver's display and an illuminated Tata logo on the four-spoke steering wheel. Boot space is ample at 502 litres, expandable to 999 litres with seats folded.
This top-spec all-wheel drive variant boasts exclusive features like boost mode, off-road assist, and six terrain modes: Normal, Snow/Grass, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Rock Crawl, and Custom. Other notable inclusions are Level 2 ADAS suite, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, HD IRVM, transparent bonnet, and a comprehensive camera system offering a 540-degree view.
Tata has introduced TiDAL (Tata Intelligent Digital Architecture Layer) with the Harrier EV for enhanced connected car features such as over-the-air updates and voice commands. A new DrivePay feature simplifies payments for FASTag and EV charging points without needing mobile devices.
The Harrier EV SUV also includes seven airbags for safety alongside AVAS, OTA updates, TPMS, USB Type-C charging ports with 65W capacity, electrically adjustable front seats, rear comfort headrests with sunshade curtains for added comfort.
