Tata Curvv Dark Edition Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs 16.49 Lakh
The Tata Curvv has been introduced in a Dark Edition variant, similar to the Safari, Nexon, and Harrier SUVs, with prices ranging from Rs 16.49 lakh to Rs 19.52 lakh in Mumbai. The new variant, which arrives during the Indian Premier League (IPL) season where Tata serves as the official car partner, features a sleek all-black design. This edition is exclusively available in the top-tier Accomplished trim level, offering buyers a unique aesthetic option.
The Dark Edition of the Curvv is distinguished by its 'DARK' badging on the fenders and a fully black interior, including the upholstery. This new variant is offered with two engine choices: a 1.2-litre GDI turbo-petrol engine delivering 125hp and 225Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 118hp and 260Nm. Both engines come with the option of a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, catering to a wide range of driving preferences.

Externally, the Curvv Dark Edition boasts a stunning Carbon Black paint job, complemented by blacked-out bumpers, grille, and 18-inch alloy wheels. It retains the model's signature full-width LED light bars on both the front and rear, as well as the glossy black cladding around the wheel arches, enhancing its sporty and aggressive look.
Moving to the interior, Tata has applied the dark theme extensively, with black leatherette upholstery, a center console, and a roof liner to match the exterior's dark aesthetic. This edition is loaded with features, including a nine-speaker JBL sound system, a wireless charger, and a panoramic sunroof. It also comes equipped with ventilated front seats, reclining rear seats, an air purifier, and disc brakes on all wheels for added comfort and safety. For those opting for the Curvv Accomplished+ A variant, additional luxuries include a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Amazon Alexa integration, an ADAS suite, and a gesture-controlled tailgate, making it a highly desirable option for tech-savvy buyers.
Regarding pricing, the Curvv Dark Edition commands a premium of up to Rs 32,000 over the standard model. The detailed price list reveals the cost difference between the Dark Edition and standard versions, indicating the premium for the enhanced aesthetic and feature set of this special edition.
