The refreshed interior introduces a new Lalitpur Grey and black upholstery scheme with leatherette seats and white carbon-fibre dashboard inserts. Rear window sunshades, ventilated rear seats and a rear centre armrest with integrated cup-holders are now included in higher trim levels.

Both the internal-combustion Curvv and the electric Curvv EV adopt the new theme, but exclusive EV touches include winged rear headrests and an elevated floorboard serving as a footrest for rear passengers.

The addition of rear window sunshades and enhanced features into slightly lower variants also shows Tata's attempt to widen the appeal of the Curvv without cost-intensive mechanical updates.

These updates follow a period of reasonably steady but moderate sales for the Curvv. Tata intends to refresh its appeal ahead of the arrival of the Sierra and to maintain momentum in a segment crowded with competitors offering high-feature content at aggressive pricing.

On the mechanical front, the Tata Curvv update carries no changes to powertrains. The ICE version continues with the 1.2-litre turbo petrol (120 PS/170 Nm), 1.2-litre direct-injection petrol (125 PS/225 Nm) and the 1.5-litre diesel (118 PS/260 Nm). Transmission options remain 6-speed manual or 7-step DCT. Meanwhile, the Curvv EV offers 45 kWh or 55 kWh battery packs with 150 hp and 167 hp outputs and 210 Nm of peak torque.

For buyers considering the Curvv update, the elevated rear seat comfort, new upholstery shade, and added convenience should make it a worthy upgrade. However, with the new Sierra just around the corner, we would advice you to wait.
