Tata Altroz Facelift Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs 6.89 Lakh
Tata Motors launched the much-awaited facelifted version of Altroz hatchback in India. This updated iteration of the Altroz hatchback is available in 4 trims levels and base model is priced at Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
The refreshed Tata Altroz boasts flared fenders for a more muscular appearance along with restyled headlamps featuring new eyebrow LED DRLs. New alloy wheels enhance its sporty look while premium flush-fitting door handles add sophistication.
The exterior enhancements for the Altroz facelift include a redesigned front with twin-pod pixel-type LED headlamps and eyebrow-like LED DRLs. The grille has been updated to match the Harrier and Safari facelifts, complemented by a reworked bumper featuring thick black inserts. At the rear, connected taillights and thicker black cladding on the boot-lid add to its appeal.
The interior of the Altroz facelift sees extensive upgrades. It now features a two-spoke steering wheel from the Nexon and Curvv models, complete with an illuminated Tata logo. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument console are part of the new user interface seen in other Tata vehicles. Additionally, there's a touch-based HVAC control panel.
Among the highlighting features are an air purifier, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats,SOS button, and an electric sunroof. The rear centre armrest now includes two cupholders for added convenience. The Altroz facelift will be offered in several variants: Smart, Pure, Pure S, Creative, Creative S, Accomplished, and Accomplished Plus S.
The engine lineup remains unchanged from the previous version. The 1.5-litre diesel motor continues to be available as well-the only one in its segment offering this option. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual, a 5-speed AMT, and a 6-speed DCT based on the engine selected.
