Tata Altroz Facelift Set For Launch On May: Check Out Launch Date, Expected Features, & Other Key Upgrades
The Tata Altroz is a well-known name in India's premium hatchback market. Tata Motors is gearing up to introduce a refreshed version of this car. The facelift model has undergone extensive testing on Indian roads. The launch date for this updated model is set for 21st May in India.
The facelifted Altroz will likely showcase several interior enhancements. A 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo is anticipated. Additionally, a larger touchscreen infotainment system and an updated instrument cluster may be included, offering improvements over the current version.

Among the expected features are front ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, and a sunroof. New seat upholstery, an auto-dimming IRVM, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also anticipated. These additions aim to enhance the driving experience significantly.
Despite these updates, the engine options are expected to remain unchanged. The facelift will likely continue with the existing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.2-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines. The 1.2-litre CNG engine option will also be available, maintaining consistency with the current offerings.
The introduction of the Tata Altroz facelift could intensify competition with models like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza. These rivals are well-established in the market, making the Altroz's updates crucial for maintaining its competitive edge.
Currently, the Tata Altroz starts at Rs. 6.65 lakh in India, with the top variant priced at Rs. 11.30 lakh (ex-showroom). With the new features, a slight price increase is anticipated for the facelift model. However, it is expected to offer good value for money to customers.
