Tata Altroz Facelift Bookings To Start Next Month: All Details Here
The reservation for the newly launched Tata Altroz facelift will commence on 2 June 2025, allowing customers to secure their own Altroz with its enhanced offerings. Through these updates, the Altroz now aligns more closely with Tata's current design language, featuring a connecting taillamp setup and a revised bumper at the rear.
Apart from these updates, the facelifted Tata Altroz now sports a redesigned grille, and new LED headlamps that contribute to a more modern and dynamic appearance. The inclusion of an LED light bar on the tailgate, along with flush-fitting door handles and newly designed dual-tone wheels, further accentuates its exterior appeal. Customers have the luxury of choosing from five distinct colours: Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Royal Blue, Pure Grey, and Pristine White, allowing for personalization.

Moreover, with an entry price of Rs. 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the facelifted Altroz competes directly with segment stalwarts like the Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and Hyundai i20. The newly revamped model is not just about aesthetic enhancements but also introduces a host of advanced features and powertrain options, including petrol, diesel, and CNG variants, to cater to a broad spectrum of preferences and needs.
Inside, the Altroz has been significantly upgraded with a focus on comfort, convenience, and safety. It now includes dual 10.25-inch displays serving as the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, an electric sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and ambient lighting that adds to the cabin's sophistication.
For safety, Tata Motors has equipped the Altroz with six airbags, an air purifier, and features like a wireless charger, cruise control, automatic climate control, and iRA connected car technology. These additions ensure passengers enjoy a secure and connected ride.
Under its hood, the Altroz keeps its familiar 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines but introduces a CNG option for the petrol variant, broadening its appeal among eco-conscious drivers. However, the turbo-petrol version has been omitted, possibly reserved for a future Altroz Racer facelift.
Transmission choices include a five-speed manual, a five-speed AMT, and a six-speed DCT automatic, offering something for every driving preference. The hatchback is available in five different variants, ensuring a match for various customer requirements and budgets.

DriveSpark Thinks
The Tata Altroz facelift brings a fresh wave of design and technological advancements to the competitive premium hatchback segment in India. With a range of powertrains, including the introduction of a CNG option, along with significant interior upgrades and a plethora of safety features, the Altroz is poised to appeal to a wide range of customers. Its competitive pricing and the variety of variants available ensure that there's an Altroz for every preference and need, maintaining its stature as a strong contender in its class.
In terms of sales, we expect the updated Tata Altroz facelift hatchback to receive a warm welcome in the Indian premium hatchback segment. However, we do not expect the model to dethrone the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. That being said, we do expect the Altroz facelift to give tough competition to the Hyundai i20 and Hyundai i20 N Line models.
We also expect the CNG version of the Tata Altroz facelift to have a positive impact on overall sales figures, especially in tier 1 and tier 2 cities in India.
