5 New Features On The New Tata Altroz Facelift
The upcoming Altroz facelift from Tata Motors is set to debut with several enhancements, making it an attractive choice in the hatchback segment. The prices for the 2025 Altroz facelift will be revealed on May 22. This marks a significant update for the first-generation Altroz, which has been on the market for over five years. While the powertrains remain unchanged, both the exterior and interior have undergone substantial upgrades.
1. Digital Driver's Display
One of the standout features of the new Altroz is its larger 10.25-inch digital driver's display. This replaces the previous 7-inch part-digital, part-analogue unit and is available exclusively in the top model of the facelifted Altroz. The high-definition screen includes a map view and blind spot monitoring, enhancing driver convenience.

2. New Two-Spoke Steering
The steering wheel in the Altroz facelift has been updated to a two-spoke design, borrowed from Tata's Nexon SUV. It features a gloss-black panel with an illuminated Tata logo at its centre. The Smart Digital steering wheel offers controls for cruise, audio, and phone calls, adding to its functionality.
3. Full-Width Taillight
In terms of tail-light design, while competitors like Hyundai i20 feature a chrome strip connecting their tail-lights, the Altroz facelift introduces an illuminated LED light bar that forms a 'T' motif by linking the lights. This design choice sets it apart from rivals such as Maruti Baleno and Toyota Glanza.
4. Flush Door Handles
The Altroz facelift incorporates flush-type door handles with illumination, inspired by Tata's Curvv concept. These replace traditional pull-type front door handles. However, at the rear, C-pillar-mounted door handles are retained for consistency in design.
5. New Colour Options
Five colour options are available for this updated model: Pristine White, Pure Grey, Royal Blue, Ember Glow, and Dune Glow. The latter two shades are new additions to the lineup. Notably, Downtown Red paint from the previous version has been discontinued.
DriveSpark Thinks
The comprehensive updates to both interior and exterior elements make this hatchback a strong contender against models like Hyundai i20, Toyota Glanza, and Maruti Baleno. With these enhancements, Tata aims to offer a more premium experience to its customers.
