Swift Hybrid Achieves Best Supermini Title At Fleet World Great British Fleet Awards
Suzuki's Swift hybrid has recently been recognised as the best Supermini at the Fleet World Great British Fleet Awards. This accolade marks the sixth industry award for the Swift in just over a year since its launch in the UK and Republic of Ireland. The recognition highlights Suzuki's success in a market with fewer non-EV options.
John Challen, Editor of Fleet World Group, remarked on the Swift's appeal: "With an ever-reducing number of non-EV cars in this segment, Suzuki has taken advantage with the new Swift, which sees off the competition thanks to low running costs, a decent spec and an element of fun added in. Value for money guaranteed in a vehicle that ticks a lot of boxes."
The latest Swift hybrid model comes equipped with a comprehensive set of standard features. It includes 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, navigation, and rear parking sensors. Additionally, it offers advanced safety features like Adaptive Cruise Control and Dual Sensor Brake Support.
David Kateley, Suzuki’s Director Automobile, expressed satisfaction with the award: "We are really pleased to receive yet another important award for Swift Hybrid which goes from strength to strength and proves the point once again the popularity of the Suzuki range of cars with all the tech you need to both our business and private customers."
The Swift hybrid is designed with environmental considerations in mind. It boasts CO2 emissions as low as 99g/km. The Motion model is competitively priced at £19,699 with manual transmission. This makes it an attractive option for those seeking affordability alongside eco-friendliness.
The Ultra grade enhances comfort and convenience further by adding polished alloy wheels, automatic air conditioning, and electric folding door mirrors with side turn indicators. These additions make it appealing for those looking for extra features.
