Suzuki Vision e-Sky Concept Revealed - 270km+ Range, Quirky Design

Suzuki has unveiled the Vision e-Sky concept ahead of the Japan Mobility Show 2025, previewing its future compact electric vehicle. Built as a born-electric model, the Suzuki Vision e-Sky reflects the marque's "Unique, Smart, Positive" design philosophy and is expected to enter production globally in FY2026.

The Suzuki Vision e-Sky concept's fascia features a matrix-style LED light bar flanked by multi-array primary headlamps and distinctive C-shaped daytime running lights.

A thick C-pillar that appears to float between roof and body adds a modern visual element, emphasising the tall-boy stance and upright proportions Suzuki has adopted for the design.

Details such as flush-mounted door handles, aerodynamically sculpted wing mirrors, and a neatly integrated roof spoiler with LED stop lamp highlight the Vision e-Sky concept's focus on contemporary styling. Both front and rear overhangs are kept short, while the flat nose and tail give the concept a compact yet robust appearance.

The two-tone paint scheme combines a contrasting white roof with blacked-out pillars, complementing slightly flared wheel arches and aerodynamic alloy wheels. The Suzuki Vision e-Sky measures 3,395 mm in length, 1,475 mm in width and 1,625 mm in height, making it taller than the Maruti S-Presso, though shorter and narrower overall.

Inside, the cabin introduces Suzuki's latest design language. A unique squircle steering wheel houses multifunction controls in gloss black trim. Ahead of the driver, a digital display shows key information including range, battery state of charge, speed, and lighting status. A second screen manages infotainment functions.

The Vision e-Sky concept's dashboard adopts a wraparound layout with integrated LED light strips for added ambience. Below the dashboard sits the gear selector, offering easy operation of park, reverse, neutral and drive modes. Switches for functions such as wing mirror adjustment are positioned unusually and could be revised in the production version.

Colour accents blend blue and purple across the interior, while beige is applied to the lower portions of the front seats and armrests. The front seats themselves are split into upper and lower sections, a design that delivers a premium aesthetic uncommon in compact cars of this size.

Suzuki claims the Vision e-Sky can achieve a range exceeding 270 kilometres on a single charge. Full technical specifications remain under wraps, but the company has confirmed that the production version will debut globally in FY2026.

In India, a Maruti Suzuki-branded electric hatchback derived from the Vision e-Sky is reportedly under consideration, based on a heavily localised version of the K-EV platform. This version could launch around 2026-27, offering buyers an entry-level EV positioned for urban commuting with affordability and practicality in mind.
