Subaru's Share The Love Event Raises Nearly USD 320 Million For Charity In 2024
American Honda has renewed its partnership with MX Sports Pro Racing, Inc., organisers of the Pro Motocross Championship. This championship is part of the SuperMotocross (SMX) World Championship regular season. Honda will be the title sponsor for Michigan's RedBud National on July 5, a key event in American motocross. Toni Bou, a 37-time Trials World Champion, will serve as Grand Marshal.
"The Pro Motocross Championship has been the bedrock of the sport here in the United States for more than 50 years, and it’s on the hallowed grounds of these iconic racetracks where American Honda became synonymous with winning, establishing itself as motocross’s most decorated brand," said Brandon Wilson, American Honda’s Manager of Racing & Advertising. "The opportunity for Honda to come together with what is arguably the championship’s crown-jewel event is something we’re incredibly excited about, and we can’t wait to celebrate the Fourth of July alongside the most passionate fans in racing."
Honda HRC Progressive has had a strong start this season. Jett Lawrence leads the premier-class standings after winning all four initial rounds. Since 2022, Honda's athletes have consistently won at their sponsored events. They achieved victories at Fox Raceway in 2022 and 2024 and Unadilla in 2023, where Lawrence secured the 450 title as a rookie.
The RedBud National will also feature exhibitions by Toni Bou and Gabriel Marcelli from Repsol Honda HRC. They will display their skills on Montesa Honda Cota 4RT trial motorcycles before heading to Rhode Island for a TrialGP round. Bou's role as Grand Marshal highlights his legendary status in trials competition.
The Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, has completed its first month of summer action. The competition remains intense across both classes with seven rounds left in the SMX World Championship regular season.

"They’re one of the most decorated brands in not only SMX but motorsports as a whole." He added that welcoming Toni Bou as Grand Marshal is an honour due to his exceptional career.

Honda began selling motorcycles in America in 1959 and now offers a wide range of vehicles including ATVs and side-by-sides. Known for innovative technology, Honda has set standards for excellence over 65 years. Their products have been manufactured in America for 45 years using both domestic and global parts.
As part of its future plans, Honda announced battery-electric powersports products are forthcoming. Manufacturing takes place at plants in Timmonsville, SC, and Swepsonville, NC.
