The hybrid SUV uses a high-capacity lithium-ion battery for enhanced efficiency. The powertrain allows the vehicle to operate using the electric motor, engine, or both for versatile performance on various terrains. This results in an EPA-estimated rating of 35 mpg city, 34 mpg highway, and 35 mpg combined.

All trim levels of the 2025 Forester Hybrid come with Subaru’s EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. The latest version offers smoother operation under more conditions due to a wider field of view and updated software. It can detect cyclists and pedestrians sooner, alerting drivers and applying brakes if needed.

Additional safety features include Reverse Automatic Braking and Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Emergency Stop Assist is also included; it stops the vehicle if the driver is unresponsive while using Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control.

Connected Services and Interior Features

The Forester Hybrid includes a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with navigation and Apple Maps compatibility. It also features an 11.6-inch Multimedia Navigation system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The touchscreen serves as an information display for audio, climate, and vehicle functions.

Bluetooth connectivity, AM/FM stereo, rear vision camera, SiriusXM All-Access Radio with a four-month free Platinum Plan, HD Radio, and over-the-air updates are also available. These features enhance convenience and connectivity for drivers and passengers alike.

Exterior Styling Options

The Forester Hybrid offers a new exterior color option called Daybreak Blue Pearl along with a contrasting Crystal Black Silica roof for select colors. HYBRID badging on the fenders and power rear gate distinguishes its appearance further.

Select trim levels feature high-durability StarTex interiors that are animal-free, aligning with Subaru's commitment to sustainability while providing comfort for occupants.

Subaru's Commitment to Community

Subaru of America is based in Camden, N.J., distributing vehicles through about 640 U.S. retailers. Its products are made in zero-landfill plants like Subaru of Indiana Automotive Inc., recognized as a backyard wildlife habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.

The company follows the Subaru Love Promise to support communities nationwide. Over two decades, it has donated over $320 million to causes important to its family while employees have volunteered over 100,000 hours.

The new Forester Hybrid will be available nationwide in spring 2025 starting at $34,995 MSRP. It combines SUV capability with car-like handling thanks to standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and other advanced features like X-MODE Dual Mode with Hill Descent Control.
