Subaru Forester And Crosstrek Recognised In Consumer Reports' 2025 Annual Top Picks List
Subaru has announced that its 2025 Forester and Crosstrek models have once again been recognised in Consumer Reports’ Annual 10 Top Picks. This marks the second consecutive year for both models on the list, with the Forester achieving this accolade for the 12th year in a row. Consumer Reports praised these vehicles for their comfort, fuel efficiency, and standard all-wheel drive.
The Subaru Forester has maintained its position as a top pick due to its practicality, excellent fuel economy, and spacious interior. Redesigned for 2025, it continues to offer standard all-wheel drive and good visibility. Available in various trims starting at $29,995 MSRP, a hybrid version will be introduced later this spring, promising up to 40% better fuel efficiency.

Consumer Reports selected the Subaru Crosstrek as its Subcompact SUV choice for the second year running. The vehicle is noted for its comfortable ride and high ground clearance. Redesigned in 2024, it returns in 2025 with multiple trim options starting at $25,810 MSRP.
Jeff Walters, President and COO of Subaru of America, Inc., expressed pride in the recognition: "Making Consumer Reports Annual 10 Top Picks award again is especially rewarding as their testing is so extensive. The Subaru Forester and Crosstrek remain excellent values for consumers thanks to their capability, fuel economy, safety, and comfort."
Consumer Reports ranks Subaru as the leading mainstream automotive brand and highlights its reliability. For 2025, eight Subaru models are recommended, including the Forester and Crosstrek. These accolades reflect Subaru's commitment to quality and consumer satisfaction.
