Subaru Unveils Pricing And Features For The 2026 Ascent Three-Row SUV
Subaru of America, Inc. has revealed the pricing for its 2026 Ascent, a well-regarded three-row SUV. The new model introduces a streamlined trim lineup, enhanced interior features, and updated in-vehicle technology. A fresh exterior colour, Sapphire Blue Pearl, replaces the previous Cosmic Blue Pearl. The 2026 Ascent is available in Premium, Limited, Limited Bronze Edition, Touring, and Onyx Edition Touring trims.
The Ascent Premium trim now includes water-resistant StarTex interior upholstery and black exterior accents. This year’s lineup sees the discontinuation of the Ascent Onyx Edition trim. All models come equipped with EyeSight Driver Assist Technology as standard. This includes a Wide-Angle Mono Camera and Emergency Stop Assist.

Standard safety features also encompass Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Reverse Automatic Braking and Automatic Emergency Steering are included as well. The DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System is available on select trims like Limited and Touring.
The 2026 Subaru Ascent is powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged SUBARU BOXER engine that delivers 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. It pairs with a Lineartronic CVT featuring an 8-speed manual mode and paddle shifters.
With standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and X-MODE with Hill Descent Control, the Ascent offers up to 5,000 pounds of towing capacity. This makes it one of Subaru's most capable vehicles. The model has consistently been recognised for its safety achievements.
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has named it a TOP SAFETY PICK for eight consecutive years. Additionally, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration awarded it a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score in 2025.
Interior Comforts
The Ascent Premium trim starts at $40,795 MSRP and offers both 7- and 8-passenger configurations. It features black-finish 18-inch alloy wheels, black side mirrors, and heated front seats in black StarTex upholstery with silver stitching.
Keyless Access with Push-Button Start, Power Rear Gate, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift lever are standard conveniences. The cabin includes dual climate controls for front seats and automatic climate controls for rear passengers.
Technology Enhancements
The vehicle boasts an 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Bluetooth hands-free connectivity, HD Radio, SiriusXM with a four-month free trial are also part of the package.
The Ascent Limited trim enhances comfort with leather-trimmed upholstery in black or ivory with silver stitching. It includes a heated steering wheel and second-row outboard seats along with sunshades for rear-seat passengers.
Distinctive Editions
The Limited Bronze Edition stands out with bronze-finish wheels and accents on the grille and body cladding. Inside, it features black StarTex upholstery with bronze stitching for a unique look.
The Touring trim level offers premium refinement at $51,165 MSRP featuring Java Brown Nappa leather-trimmed upholstery or Slate Black Nappa leather options.
Exclusive Features
The Onyx Edition Touring adds bold design elements like black-finish alloy wheels priced at $51,995 MSRP exclusively in a 7-passenger configuration.
