Subaru Of America Reports Continued Sales Growth In April 2025 With Forester Leading Sales
Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) reported vehicle sales of 56,011 for April 2025, marking a 0.3% rise from April 2024's 55,863 units. Year-to-date sales reached 222,968, reflecting a 6.8% increase compared to the same timeframe in 2024. This growth highlights Subaru's ongoing success in the automotive market.
For the fourth consecutive month, the Forester was Subaru's top-selling model with 19,330 units sold, an increase of 8.3% over April 2024. The Crosstrek followed closely with its best-ever April performance, selling 14,935 vehicles and achieving a significant 23.2% growth compared to the previous year.

The Outback also performed well with sales of 11,501 units. Both the BRZ and Legacy models experienced positive sales growth over the previous year. However, some models like Ascent and WRX saw declines in their monthly sales figures compared to April 2024.
Troy Poston, Senior Vice President of Sales at Subaru of America, Inc., stated: "Another consecutive month of sales growth reflects the hard work of our retailers who continue to build trust and confidence through their actions and with the reliability and innovation of our vehicles."
Subaru's recent product launches have generated excitement among customers. The introduction of models such as the 2026 Subaru Outback, Outback Wilderness, Solterra, and Trailseeker has sparked interest among drivers looking for bold design and advanced safety features.
