Subaru Announces Pricing And Features For The New 2025 Forester Hybrid SUV
Subaru of America, Inc. has announced the pricing for the 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid SUV, which will be available at retailers this spring. The new model features a series-parallel hybrid system with a 2.5-litre SUBARU BOXER engine, electric motors, and a high-capacity lithium-ion battery. This combination offers up to 40% better fuel economy than non-hybrid models while maintaining Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.
The 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid is offered in four trims: Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring. Each comes with standard all-wheel drive and the latest EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. The starting price for the Forester Hybrid is $34,995. It boasts an 8.7-inch ground clearance and improved power from its hybrid powertrain.
The Premium Hybrid trim includes an 11.6-inch multimedia system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster for $34,995 MSRP. Competitors like the Toyota RAV4 XLE Hybrid and Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid with AWD are priced higher at $35,600 and $36,150 respectively.
The Sport Hybrid trim stands out with unique styling elements such as 19-inch wheels with a bronze finish and a gloss black grille. It also includes a Harman Kardon speaker system and StarTex interior upholstery for $37,995 MSRP.
The Limited Hybrid trim adds more convenience features like Reverse Automatic Braking, an 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat, heated steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, and chrome exterior accents for $39,410 MSRP.
Touring Trim Highlights
The top-tier Touring Hybrid combines capability with luxury features for $41,695 MSRP. It includes 19-inch wheels with a dark grey finish, a 360-degree Surround View Monitor, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and leather-trimmed upholstery with Ultrasuede inserts.
Exclusive two-tone paint options are available for Touring models at additional costs ranging from $495 to $890 depending on the colour choice.
Powertrain Details
All Forester Hybrid models feature a newly developed 2.5-litre SUBARU BOXER engine paired with electric motors and Lineartronic CVT. This setup delivers 194 horsepower while enhancing fuel efficiency by up to 40% compared to non-hybrid versions.
Paint Options
The Forester Hybrid introduces Daybreak Blue Pearl as an exclusive colour option available on select trims for $395 MSRP. Two-tone paint options are reserved for the Touring trim only.
