Special Edition Volkswagen SUVs Introduce Enhanced Style And Value For Drivers

The Volkswagen SUV lineup is getting a stylish upgrade with the introduction of two new T-Roc special editions. The T-Roc Style Design and Black Edition Plus offer enhanced features compared to the previous Style and Black Editions, which they replace. These models will be available for purchase starting 22 May.

Both new trims boast improved standard specifications, including 19-inch Misano black alloy wheels, an electric tailgate, rear-view camera, keyless access, a panoramic sunroof, and metallic paint with a black roof. These enhancements add significant value to the already well-equipped outgoing models.

The Style Design trim includes a design pack that features black door mirrors matching the roof and Volkswagen's IQ. Light matrix headlights. These headlights adjust automatically to oncoming traffic and road conditions, enhancing night-time visibility for drivers. The additional features of the Black Edition Plus would typically cost £3,225 if ordered separately but are included at no extra charge in this edition.

The Style Design model's added features would normally amount to £5,520 if purchased as options. However, the upgraded version is priced just £1,000 more than the previous Style trim at £33,205 (on-the-road recommended retail price including VAT). Meanwhile, the Black Edition Plus retains its predecessor's price of £36,515.

With the discontinuation of the T-Roc R-Line, these new special editions now sit between the entry-level T-Roc Life (£29,315) and Match (£29,490), and the high-performance T-Roc R and R Black Edition (£45,390 and £46,640 respectively). This strategic positioning offers customers a range of options within the T-Roc lineup.

Volkswagen continues to lead in vehicle sales in the UK. In 2024 alone, 166,304 new Volkswagen passenger vehicles were registered in the UK according to data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). This accounted for an 8.52% market share.

Volkswagen's Global Reach

The Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand operates globally with production facilities in 29 locations across 12 countries. The company employs around 170,000 people worldwide. In 2024, Volkswagen delivered approximately 4.80 million vehicles globally.

This impressive delivery figure includes popular models like Polo, T-Roc, T-Cross, Golf, Tiguan and Passat. Additionally, Volkswagen handed over about 383,000 all-electric vehicles to customers worldwide last year as part of its ACCELERATE strategy aimed at becoming a leader in sustainable mobility.
