Skywell Unveils Early Summer Offers To Enhance Electric Vehicle Ownership Experience

Skywell is making electric vehicle ownership more appealing with three enticing offers for the new BE11 model. Buyers can enjoy a free home charger from Hypervolt, £3,000 in public charging credit via Octopus Electroverse, and a £6,000 deposit contribution. These incentives aim to make the transition to electric vehicles smoother and more affordable.

Hypervolt will provide the 7.4kW Home 3 Pro smart wall box to new Skywell BE11 owners. This charger comes with various cable lengths and colours, ensuring it fits seamlessly into any home setting. Installation and certification are included, handled by Hypervolt's approved fitters across the UK.

David Woodford, Head of Partnerships at Hypervolt, stated: "Hypervolt’s mission is to democratise the delivery of energy, and one of the key methods we’re doing this is through reducing barriers to EV ownership. Working with Britain’s leading EV tariff providers enables us to deliver the cheapest electricity possible to the homes of EV owners, and by aligning with a brand whose mantra is ‘affordability and practicality’ in Skywell, we’ve taken yet another exciting step toward building a greener Britain."

Skywell has partnered with Octopus Electric Vehicles to offer £3,000 in public charging credit through their Electroverse App. This credit covers approximately 15,000 miles of free charging based on an estimated cost of £0.69 per kW from UK public chargers. This initiative significantly reduces the cost of vehicle ownership for new customers.

Financial Incentives for Buyers

The third offer includes a substantial £6,000 finance deposit contribution. This makes the BE11 competitively priced against traditional petrol or diesel vehicles. David Clark, Skywell UK's General Manager, highlighted that this contribution helps bridge the price gap between electric and conventional vehicles.

The BE11 comes in two variants: a 72kW Standard Range offering up to 248 miles (304 miles city) and an 86kW Long Range variant reaching 304 miles (401 miles city), both tested under WLTP cycles. The starting price for these feature-rich models is £36,995.

Comprehensive Vehicle Features

The BE11 boasts numerous features such as electrically adjustable leather seats, a panoramic Skyroof, 19-inch Lynx alloy wheels, LED lighting with sequential indicators, wireless phone charging, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, USB ports front and rear, built-in navigation, a rear 220v socket, ambient lighting in 128 colours, and a premium Metz sound system.

Skywell's Future Plans

Founded in 2000 by Skyworth Group in China, Skywell focuses on sustainable transport solutions including LCVs and HGVs. By 2027, they plan to introduce new all-electric models like a C-segment hatchback and D-segment saloon alongside plug-in hybrids. Their vehicles are known for strong build quality and extensive warranties.

Skywell's partnership with Innovation Automotive ensures distribution in the UK market. With an annual turnover exceeding ¥69 billion (£7.1 billion), Skyworth also manufactures solar panels and consumer electronics.

The offers are available for retail registrations made before June 30th, 2025 at participating dealers. Terms apply regarding installation specifics for Hypervolt chargers and redemption conditions for Octopus Electroverse credits.
