Skoda Vision O Electric Concept Debuts At Munich Motor Show - Previews Octavia Estate EV
Czech carmaker Skoda has pulled the covers off the Vision O concept at the 2025 Munich Motor Show. The new Skoda Vision O concept previews the future electric Octavia estate while also introducing Skoda's updated Modern Solid design philosophy.
The name Vision O refers to Skoda's "O" for Octavia and the brand's focus on circularity in design. The concept has been developed with an emphasis on sustainability and it uses recyclable materials, reduced-impact production, and long-life components.

At the front, the Vision O features a Tech Loop lighting signature that also serves as a sealed panel for radar and sensors. Cyber lights extend into the fenders and work as indicators or autonomous-drive signals.
In profile, the Skoda Vision O's shape is defined by a long bonnet, slab-sided body, and sharply raked windscreens at both ends. The Vision O also features aero-optimised alloy wheels, flush door handles, and a glass-heavy B-pillar and darkened C-pillar that add contrast to the minimalist look.

At the rear, T-shaped LED lamps mirror the front lighting design. An illuminated Skoda wordmark replaces the badge, accompanied by a split spoiler and diffuser-style bumper.
Inside, the focus of the Vision O is on simplicity and technology. The slim Horizon Display stretches 1.2 metres across the dashboard, acting as a full-width screen for the instrumentation while adding a bit extra for the passengers. The Horizon Display can be controlled via touch or a rotary dial. A vertical touchscreen infotainment screen and a compact two-spoke steering wheel complete the layout.

The interior of the Skoda Vision O concept adopts an achromatic theme, supported by bio-adaptive ambient lighting. Practical elements include a 650-litre boot (expandable to 1700 litres with the rear seats folded down, a removable Bluetooth speaker, a built-in fridge, and wireless charging pods. The upholstery uses 100 per cent recycled fabrics, scrap leather, and plant-based trims to reduce the cabin's ecological footprint.

Technology plays a central role with autonomous driving capability, including a "tranquil mode" that simplifies graphics, reclines seats, and adapts lighting. A new AI-driven assistant named Laura is integrated, alongside a companion app that personalises features and settings for each user.
The Skoda Vision O sets the stage for the brand's electric estate ambitions. With sustainable materials, advanced technology, and an aerodynamic design, the concept outlines Skoda's plan for a production-ready Octavia EV estate expected by the end of the decade.
