Updated Exterior Design
The 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift will feature a reworked front fascia with subtle yet noticeable design changes. Expect a redesigned grille, new lighting elements, and an updated bumper that collectively lend the SUV a sharper, sportier appearance. The LED headlight cluster now includes a redesigned DRL strip positioned along the top edge, which also functions as the turn indicator.
On the sides, the overall design remains largely the same, but the test vehicle showcases newly designed alloy wheels. The Kushaq retains its conventional door handles, wheel arch cladding, blacked-out B-pillars, dual-tone ORVMs, and roof rails. The rear is likely to get connected tail lamps along with a refreshed bumper design and revised detailing. While no sheet metal changes are expected, Skoda might introduce new colour options to keep things fresh and appealing.
Interior & Features
Inside the cabin, the facelifted Kushaq is set to receive significant upgrades in keeping with market trends. One of the most notable additions will be a panoramic sunroof-a feature that has become increasingly popular among compact SUV buyers. The current model offers only a single-pane sunroof, so this will mark a major improvement. Rival SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, and Maruti Victoris already offer panoramic sunroofs, making it a necessary upgrade for Skoda.
The Kushaq facelift is also expected to receive updated infotainment and instrument display screens. The existing setup includes a 10-inch touchscreen and an 8-inch digital cluster, both of which may be upgraded with newer, more responsive units.
Enhanced Safety & Technology
Skoda's focus on safety is expected to grow stronger with the introduction of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). While the current model already boasts a 5-star Global NCAP rating, ADAS features will further enhance its safety profile. Other possible additions include a 360-degree camera setup, offering a comprehensive view around the vehicle.
Existing safety features such as six airbags (standard), electronic stability control (ESC), traction control system (TCS), electronic differential locking system (EDS), multi-collision braking, hill hold control, roll-over protection, and ABS with brake disc wiping will continue to be part of the package.
Powertrain Options
The Skoda Kushaq facelift will continue with the same proven engine lineup. The 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine delivers 114hp and 178Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Fuel efficiency figures stand at 19.76km/l for the manual and 18.09km/l for the automatic variant.
For those seeking more performance, the 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine will return with 150 PS and 250 Nm, coupled with a 7-speed DSG gearbox. This version offers a claimed mileage of 18.86 km/l.
