Skoda To Debut Enyaq Facelift Today: Design Highlights & Specs

The Skoda Enyaq, a popular electric vehicle in Europe, is set to be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo (BMGE) next week. This event will feature the pre-facelift version of the Enyaq iV SUV. However, the facelifted version of the Skoda Enyaq is all set to make its gloabl debut today (January 08, 2025).

Skoda Enyaq Facelift Design

Skoda has introduced a new 'Tech Deck' face for the Enyaq, featuring split LED headlamps on the bumper, similar to the Elroq EV. The daytime running lights consist of four segmented LEDs on each edge, connected by 23 individual LEDs that mimic an ICE car's grille. These lights are placed on a blanked-off panel, confirming its electric vehicle status.

Skoda Enyaq Facelift

The Skoda Enyaq facelift includes several design updates. The winged-arrow Skoda logo has been replaced with a blacked-out 'SKODA' lettermark. Additionally, the lower air intake of the bumper now sports a black finish. Despite these changes, the alloy wheels retain the familiar logo.

In terms of colour options, the teaser video revealed that the Skoda Enyaq SUV is available in Velvet Red. Meanwhile, its coupé counterpart can be finished in either Race or Energy Blue. The Sportline Edition features darkened elements like dark chrome accents and signature C-shaped taillights.

Launch Timeline & Technical Specifications

The launch of the Skoda Enyaq facelift in India is anticipated by mid-2025. However, interior details and technical specifications remain undisclosed for now. The pre-facelift version might make an appearance at BMGE 2025 as well.

Skoda Enyaq Facelift Details

The top-spec 80x trim of the Enyaq has been spotted testing multiple times on Indian roads. This variant boasts a 77kWh battery with up to 513km WLTP range and delivers 265hp through dual motors on each axle. It can accelerate from 0-100kph in just 6.9 seconds.

Skoda Enyaq Coupé Updates

The latest video confirmed that these updates will also apply to the Enyaq coupé version. Previously missing door handles have been reinstated in this design sketch. Other carried-over features include a sharp tear-off edge and signature C-shaped taillights.

Petr Janeba, Skoda India Brand Director, mentioned that the launch was delayed due to the upcoming facelift. As one of Europe's best-selling EVs for 2024, anticipation is high for its arrival in India.

The Skoda Enyaq's new design language is called Modern Solid and was first seen in recent design sketches released by Skoda. Although specific interior details are not yet available, this fresh look aims to enhance its appeal among electric vehicle enthusiasts.
