Škoda Elroq VRS: UK Pricing And Specifications For The Brand’s Fastest Production Model
Škoda has unveiled the Elroq vRS, its fastest production model, set to hit UK roads this summer. Priced from £46,560, orders open mid-June. This sporty flagship features dual motors with a combined output of 340 PS. It accelerates from 0-62 mph in just 5.4 seconds. The Elroq vRS is designed for both performance and everyday usability.
The Elroq vRS stands out with its exclusive Hyper Green paint and 20-inch Draconis black alloy wheels. Black accents on window trims, roof rails, and mirror caps enhance its sporty look. Optional 21-inch Vision anthracite wheels are available. The Tech-Deck Face grille, part of Škoda's Modern Solid design language, is illuminated and finished in gloss black.
Inside, the vRS Lounge Design Selection offers sport seats with microsuede and artificial leather. These seats are electrically adjustable with memory and massage functions for the driver. Lime green stitching and carbon-effect inlays add flair, complemented by a heated three-spoke sports steering wheel.
The Elroq vRS includes advanced technology like a five-inch digital cockpit display and a 13-inch central touchscreen. An augmented reality head-up display projects essential driving information onto the windscreen. Standard features include an area view camera and CANTON sound system, enhancing both safety and entertainment.
Adaptive DCC chassis control comes standard, offering dynamic driving modes for varied conditions. Upgraded brakes with large two-piston calipers provide enhanced stopping power. Sports suspension ensures a smooth ride while maintaining performance capabilities.
Performance and Charging
The Elroq vRS is equipped with an all-wheel-drive 84 kWh battery (79 kWh net), delivering power through a dual-motor setup. Despite its impressive speed, it achieves a WLTP range of up to 339 miles. It supports DC rapid charging at speeds up to 185 kW, reaching 10 to 80 per cent charge in just 26 minutes.
A standard 11 kW AC home charger can fully recharge the vehicle in about eight and a half hours. This makes it convenient for daily use while maintaining high performance levels.
Practicality and Usability
The Elroq vRS offers practicality with a 470-litre boot that expands to 1,580 litres when rear seats are folded. A virtual pedal allows hands-free tailgate opening, while a variable boot floor and net programme come standard.
