Skoda Elroq VRS Launches As The Sportiest Electric Compact SUV With Impressive Performance
The Škoda Elroq vRS, an all-electric SUV, is now available for order. This model boasts a system output of 340 PS (250 kW) and can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.4 seconds. It features extensive standard equipment, including a sports chassis and LED Matrix beam headlights. The vehicle is priced from £46,560, with deliveries expected in the summer.
Škoda Auto has introduced the Elroq vRS six months after unveiling the Elroq model. This new addition to the vRS family offers an electric range of 339 miles on the WLTP cycle and comes with all-wheel drive. The Elroq vRS is Škoda's fastest accelerating production car, reaching 62 mph in just over five seconds.
The Elroq vRS is equipped with two motors on each axle, providing a total output of 340 PS (250 kW). It shares its acceleration capabilities with the Enyaq vRS, both achieving a top speed of 111 mph. The high-voltage battery has a gross capacity of 84 kWh, allowing for fast charging at up to 185 kW.
Black-painted body accessories and exclusive alloy wheels enhance the sporty look of the Elroq vRS. The interior features microsuede upholstery and other vRS-specific elements. The vehicle's design incorporates Škoda's new Modern Solid design language, highlighted by its high-gloss Tech-Deck Face.
The Elroq vRS includes advanced technology such as a 13-inch infotainment display and an Augmented Reality head-up display. It also features four fast-charging USB-C ports and wireless phone charging capabilities. A premium sound system developed with CANTON delivers exceptional audio quality.
The vehicle offers comprehensive connectivity features, including Travel Assist with Adaptive Lane Assist and Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control. Keyless entry with Open-On-Approach function provides convenience for users, while Walk-Away Locking ensures security when leaving the car.
Charging Options and Connectivity
Škoda's Powerpass service allows easy access to nearly 900,000 charging points across Europe. The Plug & Charge option simplifies authorisation at compatible stations for DC charging at rates up to 185 kW. Customers can choose from flexible or fixed-rate plans based on their charging needs.
The MyŠkoda app supports Intelligent Park Assist functions like Remote Park Assist and Remote Trained Parking. These features enable autonomous parking manoeuvres controlled via smartphone, enhancing convenience for drivers.

The Elroq vRS continues Škoda's tradition of sporty models that began in 2000 with the Octavia vRS. Over the years, Škoda has expanded its vRS lineup to include models like the Fabia vRS and Kodiaq vRS. In recent years, Škoda introduced fully electric models such as the Enyaq vRS family.
