Škoda Auto experienced a notable surge in production activities in 2024, manufacturing over 925,000 vehicles globally. This represents a 4.2% increase compared to the previous year. The growth was driven by the launch and production of various new and updated models, including the Scala, Kamiq, Kylaq, Octavia, and Kodiaq series.
The main plant in Mladá Boleslav played a pivotal role in Škoda Auto's production success. It contributed 575,000 vehicles to the total count. The plant's versatile production line can manufacture both internal combustion engine vehicles on the MQB platform and electric vehicles on the MEB platform. This adaptability helps meet market demands efficiently.

Škoda Auto's global production network extends beyond its Czech Republic base. Significant production activities occur in India, China, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. The strategic expansion into new markets like Vietnam and continued assembly in Kazakhstan highlight the company's ambition to enhance its international presence.
In India, Škoda Auto launched the Kylaq compact SUV, marking its first entry into the sub-4-metre segment. This category is popular in the Indian market. The launch is part of Škoda's strategy to increase its footprint in India and leverage the country as a future export hub for regions such as ASEAN, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand.

Škoda Auto produced over 280,000 battery systems for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles across the Volkswagen Group. Additionally, they manufactured over 1 million transmissions and nearly 500,000 engines.
Škoda Auto's international presence expanded with developments at its Pune plant in India for Kylaq compact SUV production. They also finalized vehicle assembly preparations in Vietnam and initiated Kodiaq SKD production in Kazakhstan.
The company completed preparations for series production of the all-new Elroq model at Mladá Boleslav plant. With a capacity to produce up to 600 units daily, this development underscores Škoda Auto's commitment to meeting market demand efficiently.
