Singer Appoints Raj Nair As CEO To Enhance Operational Effectiveness And Growth

Singer, a luxury specialist known for its Porsche 911 restorations, has appointed Raj Nair as CEO. Nair will enhance operations in the US and UK. His extensive automotive experience includes roles at Ford and Multimatic. Singer aims to expand globally under his leadership, focusing on operational excellence while maintaining its high standards.

Rob Dickinson, Singer's Founder and Executive Chairman, expressed enthusiasm about Nair's appointment. "We’re glad we could persuade Raj to join us. His expertise and proven governorship in key areas will help us get where we want to go. He’ll join Maz and I in leading the company, with a focus on operations while we obsess about the cars and the vision for Singer's future. Mazen Fawaz, Chief Strategy Officer, emphasized the strategic selection of Nair for the CEO role. Nair's career began at Ford in 1987 as a launch engineer for body and assembly operations. He worked on 11 vehicle programs across 13 assembly plants worldwide. Eventually, he became Ford's head of product development and chief technical officer before serving as President of Ford North America.

In 2018, Nair joined Multimatic as President and COO. During his tenure there, he contributed to projects like the Mercedes-AMG ONE, Ford Mustang GTD, and Porsche 963 LMDh. His experience spans engineering, manufacturing, technology, and procurement.
