Scott Krugger Takes Charge Of Stellantis North America Design Strategy
Stellantis appoints Scott Krugger as head of North America design. He will oversee the creative direction for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram brands.
Stellantis has appointed Scott Krugger as the head of North America design, a newly created role. He will report to Antonio Filosa, the chief operating officer for North America. Krugger will guide the creative direction and design strategy for Stellantis’ iconic brands like Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram. This appointment is part of Chief Design Officer Ralph Gilles' new design organization.
Krugger's career at Stellantis began in 2001, where he has taken on various roles with increasing responsibility within the design office. His most recent position involved managing exterior design for Dodge and Dodge//SRT vehicles in North America. Before this, he led Alfa Romeo, Jeep, and user experience design at Stellantis' EMEA design studio.

The announcement of Krugger’s new role comes shortly after Gilles Vidal was appointed to lead design for all European brands under Stellantis. These appointments are significant steps in implementing Ralph Gilles’ new design organization. The aim is to blend global expertise across Stellantis’ 14 vehicle brands while maintaining strong regional autonomy to meet local customer needs effectively.
Ralph Gilles reports directly to Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa and focuses on global design strategy and projects. He collaborates closely with regional design heads to set strategic directions for each brand while encouraging cross-regional collaboration.

"With Scott’s immense design talent and proven leadership in North America and Gilles’ award-winning track record in Europe, we are opening a new chapter of creative excellence with the roll out of our organization."
