Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs 9.5 Crore
The Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge has been introduced in India with a price tag of Rs 9.5 crore, excluding options. Bookings for this high-performance electric vehicle are now open at the brand's showrooms in Chennai and New Delhi. This model, unveiled internationally in February, is the most powerful Rolls-Royce to date, boasting an output of 659hp and 1,075Nm of torque.
Compared to the standard Spectre EV, which was priced at Rs 7.62 crore when announced in January, the Black Badge version is Rs 1.88 crore more expensive. Both prices are ex-showroom and do not include customisation or personalisation options. The Black Badge's enhanced performance comes from its dual-motor setup, offering an additional 74hp and 175Nm over the standard model.

The Spectre Black Badge accelerates from 0-100kph in just 4.1 seconds, improving by 0.4 seconds over the standard version's time of 4.5 seconds. Despite these enhancements, it retains the same 102kWh battery with a WLTP range of up to 530km. To accommodate the increased power, Rolls-Royce has refined the chassis, steering, and roll stabilisation system while ensuring ride comfort remains uncompromised.
Exterior modifications on the Spectre Black Badge include blacked-out elements such as the grille, door handles, badges, and hood ornament. The model also features unique 23-inch forged aluminium wheels and a new Vapour Violet paint option among its extensive palette of 44,000 exterior colours. Customers can also opt for bespoke colours through Rolls-Royce's Bespoke division for an additional cost.
Inside the Spectre Black Badge, drivers will find an Illuminated Fascia featuring over 5,500 'stars' set into a piano black dashboard. The driver's display offers five colour themes: Vivid Grellow, Neon Nights, Cyan Fire, Ultraviolet and Synth Wave. Additionally, many cabin elements are finished in carbon fibre or metal to enhance its luxurious feel.
The Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament is among several components that receive a blacked-out treatment typical of Rolls-Royce's Black Badge models. Furthermore, buyers can choose illuminated front grilles and door sills available in four distinct colours: Tailored Purple, Charles Blue, Chartreuse and Forge Yellow.
