Rolls-Royce Unveils Black Badge Cullinan Daisy Inspired By Client's Hiking Journey
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has unveiled the Black Badge Cullinan Daisy, a unique creation inspired by a client's love for hiking. This one-of-a-kind vehicle draws its design from daisies found on the client's favourite trail in the High Tatras mountains. The car symbolises resilience and perseverance, much like the daisy that thrives in various conditions.
The exterior of the Black Badge Cullinan Daisy features a hand-painted daisy motif on the Coachline, set against a Powder Blue backdrop. This subtle colour palette contrasts with the darkened Black Badge Pantheon Grille and Spirit of Ecstasy. The design reflects both strength and elegance.

Inside, the daisy motif is intricately applied to the front fascia and waterfall section between the rear seats using a sandblasting technique on Blackwood veneer. This process creates a three-dimensional effect by etching away microscopic layers, adding depth and visual interest to the interior.
The cabin's colour scheme includes Fleet Blue leather, extending to Rotary Controls and B and C pillars. Selby Grey and Black leathers complement this, with Fleet Blue seat piping and Selby Grey stitching. Bespoke Illuminated Treadplates featuring a daisy design complete the interior.
The vehicle includes bespoke umbrellas hidden within Cullinan’s rear Coach Doors, adorned with a daisy motif visible only inside. This playful pattern evokes a field of daisies blooming on a rainy day, adding an unexpected touch of charm.
A Bespoke Starlight Headliner enhances the interior ambiance by depicting four major constellations: Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, Gemini, and Taurus. These celestial patterns bring an element of wonder to the car's roof.
Recreation Module: Ready for Adventure
The Black Badge Cullinan Daisy is equipped with a Recreation Module designed for storing hiking gear. This automatically-deployable compartment is mounted on the luggage floor, catering to outdoor enthusiasts who value both luxury and functionality.
"My love for the outdoors has been a driving force behind both my personal passions and professional success," said the commissioning client. "The inspiration for this commission came from a field of daisies on my favourite trail in the High Tatras mountains – a place I return to when I need to clear my thoughts."
Martina Starke, General Manager of Bespoke Design at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, commented on this unique project: "This commission challenged us to explore how natural motifs can be translated through craft and materiality." She added that it represents "a different kind of Bespoke language where emotion is captured through restrained and thoughtful contrasts."
The technical specifications include CO2 emissions ranging from 380-363 g/km and fuel consumption between 16.8-17.7 mpg (16.8-16.0 l/100km). These figures reflect Rolls-Royce's commitment to combining luxury with performance.
