Rolls-Royce Unveils Bespoke Spectre Inspired By Velvet Orchid At Chelsea Bloom Event
This week, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has unveiled a unique Bespoke Spectre in Chelsea. The car is finished in a striking Velvet Orchid colour with a Peony Pink Coachline. This design draws inspiration from the rare Velvet Orchid flower, known for its rich hue and luxurious appearance.
In Chelsea, the Bespoke Spectre showcases Rolls-Royce's enduring connection to nature. The Velvet Orchid's captivating colour and texture have inspired this creation. Floral themes have long influenced the brand's bespoke designs, reflecting beauty and symbolism.
Rolls-Royce has a history of drawing inspiration from nature for its bespoke creations. Flowers, in particular, offer a rich language of sentiment and beauty. This Spectre follows other notable commissions like the Phantom Cherry Blossom and Daisy Cullinan.
Boris Weletzky, Regional Director for the UK, Europe, and Central Asia at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, expressed delight at unveiling this distinctive Spectre. "As the British Season begins, we’re delighted to unveil a truly distinctive expression of Spectre in the heart of Chelsea," he stated.
The Bespoke Spectre is not just a car but an artwork reflecting the commissioning client's values and lifestyle. Each creation is deeply personal, showcasing patience, precision, and individuality through time and craftsmanship.
"Much like the rare flower that inspired it, this Spectre is the result of time, care and craftsmanship – a celebration of patience, precision, and individuality," Weletzky added. This statement highlights the extraordinary possibilities offered by Rolls-Royce Bespoke.
Technical Specifications
The technical details of the Spectre include power consumption between 2.6-2.8 mi/kWh or 23.6-22.2 kWh/100km. It offers an electric range of 329 miles or 530 km with zero CO2 emissions.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars operates as a luxury house creating handcrafted bespoke products for clients worldwide. Over 2,500 people work at its Goodwood headquarters in West Sussex.
The company has significantly contributed to the UK economy since launching at Goodwood in 2003. An independent study by LSE confirms it adds over £500 million annually to economic value.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is part of BMW Group but operates separately from Rolls-Royce plc, which manufactures aircraft engines.
