Renault Secures Three Prestigious Awards At Fleet World’s Great British Fleet Awards 2025
Renault has achieved notable success at the Fleet World’s Great British Fleet Awards 2025. The Renault Master was honoured with both 'Large Van of the Year' and 'Van of the Year' titles. Additionally, the Renault 5 E-Tech electric was recognised as the 'Best Compact EV'. These accolades highlight Renault's commitment to innovative design and efficiency in their vehicles.
The Renault Master stands out for its thoughtful design and aerodynamic efficiency, appealing to fleet operators and drivers alike. It offers a range of versions with load spaces from 11 to 20 cubic metres, featuring a wider sliding side door opening and extended load capacity. This versatility makes it a strong contender in the large van sector.
John Kendall, Editor at Van Fleet World, praised the Renault Master for its transformation in both car and commercial vehicle ranges. He noted, "Renault is undergoing a transformation in both its car and commercial vehicle ranges." The new model offers electric or two-litre diesel power, with an aerodynamic design that enhances electric range and fuel efficiency.
The Renault Master features extensive storage space in the cab, a 10-inch touchscreen on the dashboard, and digital instruments available this year. Two trim levels provide comprehensive specifications even for entry-level models. This makes it well-suited for both current diesel rivals and future electric needs.
The Renault 5 E-Tech electric impressed judges with its standout looks and fun-to-drive character. John Challen, Editor at Fleet World, described it as "one of the most eagerly-awaited vehicles – let alone EVs – for a very long time." Its clever lighting cues and well-thought-out interior add to its appeal.
This compact EV is available in five versions across three trim levels. It offers a choice between a 40kWh urban range battery with 120hp or a 52kWh comfort range battery with 150hp, providing up to 252 miles (WLTP) of range. The practical design includes comfortable seating for five and a spacious boot.
Awards Reflect Renault's Appeal
Justin Costello, Head of Fleet at Renault Group, expressed pride in these awards as recognition of their product line-up's appeal to fleet buyers. He stated that whether it's an all-electric hatchback or a versatile large van, Renault provides solutions for fleets and businesses of all sizes.
The pricing for these award-winning vehicles is competitive. The Renault Master starts from £33,500 plus VAT or £37,500 plus VAT after PiVG for the E-Tech electric versions. Meanwhile, the Renault 5 E-Tech electric begins at just £22,995 OTR.
Renault's strategic plan aims to embody modernity and innovation in technology, energy, and mobility services within the automotive industry. Their focus on developing innovative vehicles continues to position them as pioneers in electric mobility across Europe.
