Renault Triber Prices Slahed! Prices Now Start At Rs 5.76 Lakh
Renault has revised the prices of its popular budget MPV, the Triber, following the implementation of GST 2.0. The price cuts make the Triber an even more attractive option for families looking for an affordable and feature-packed seven-seater.
Among all variants, the range-topping Emotion AMT Dual Tone has received the biggest price reduction, amounting to Rs 80,195.
The Renault Triber underwent a significant facelift on 23 July 2025, bringing a refreshed look and several feature upgrades. On the outside, it now sports three new colour options, smoked tail lamps, and a new diamond-shaped Renault logo.
The interior sees upgrades such as an updated instrument cluster, ambient lighting, a larger 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, six standard airbags, automatic climate control, and a traffic sign recognition camera.
Powering the Triber is the familiar 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 71bhp and 96Nm of torque, paired with either a manual or AMT gearbox.
Why Renault Triber Gets Big Tax Cut
Despite being a 7-seater, the Renault Triber qualifies as a "small car" under the new GST slab as it measures just under 4 meters in length and uses a 999cc petrol engine (well under the 1.2-litre threshold).
This classification gives the Triber a huge advantage. Cars falling under the "small car" category now attract just 18% GST, compared to the earlier 28% slab. That's a 10% reduction in tax, translating to significant savings for buyers.

For budget-conscious Indian families, the Renault Triber was already an attractive proposition. Now, with the tax cut, the Triber becomes even more accessible, offering 7-seat practicality at a price point where most buyers only get a hatchback or compact SUV.
