Old Vs New Renault Triber: A Closer Look At New Features & Design Changes
The Renault Triber has undergone a significant facelift, introducing notable cosmetic enhancements and new features. This compact MPV, launched over five years ago, now boasts an updated design and improved amenities while retaining its original mechanical components. The facelift aligns the Triber with Renault's global models, offering a fresh look and enhanced comfort.
Exterior Design Changes
Externally, the Triber facelift showcases a striking transformation. The front features a new gloss black grille with diagonal slats that seamlessly integrate with updated LED headlights. This design forms a continuous arc, enhancing the vehicle's premium appeal. Additionally, the front bumper has been redesigned with a larger central air dam surrounded by silver trim, repositioned fog lamps, and slimmer vertical air intakes.

The side profile of the Triber facelift sports new 15-inch flex steel wheels and gloss black door handles. Slightly updated plastic cladding and a blacked-out roof add to its modern appearance. At the rear, slimmer smoked LED tail-lamps are prominent alongside gloss black trim between them. The 'TRIBER' lettering has been repositioned with a sharper typeface on the revised bumper.
Interior Enhancements
Inside, the Triber facelift introduces a lighter greyish-beige colour scheme, replacing the previous black-and-silver interior. The dashboard layout mirrors that of the Kiger model, featuring an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen positioned higher and central AC vents below it. A new geometric pattern trim spans the dashboard's width, complementing updated seat upholstery and steering wheel adorned with Renault's latest logo.

Uprated Features
The Triber facelift also brings several new features to enhance convenience and safety. It includes six airbags as standard, auto headlights, cruise control, front parking sensors, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, rain-sensing wipers, a 360-degree camera, and a 7-inch digital driver's display.
Powertrain
Mechanically unchanged from its predecessor, the Triber facelift retains its 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This unit delivers 72hp and 96Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The manual version offers an ARAI-claimed mileage of 19kpl while the AMT variant provides 18.29kpl.
Pricing Details
The pricing for the Triber facelift ranges from Rs 6.30 lakh to Rs 9.17 lakh ex-showroom in India. Depending on variants, this represents an increase of Rs 14,000 to Rs 41,000 compared to previous models. The variant line-up now includes Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion options; however, the AMT is exclusive to the top-spec Emotion variant.
This comprehensive update positions the Renault Triber as an attractive choice for those seeking style and functionality in their compact MPV experience.
