Renault India Cuts Prices by Up to ₹96k on KWID, Kiger, Triber After GST Revision

French carmaker Renault has announced a significant price reduction across its passenger vehicle lineup, passing on the full benefits of GST 2.0 to customers. The revised prices take effect from September 22, 2025, aligning with the upcoming festive season. Bookings at the new rates are already open.

The price drop applies to the Renault KWID, Kiger, and Triber. Customers can save between ₹40,095 and ₹96,395, depending on the model and variant chosen. The reductions coincide with the Navratri festive periot, offering a timely incentive for prospective buyers during the peak sales period.

The KWID hatchback now starts at ₹4.29 lakh with the top-spec variant now priced at Rs ₹5.90 lakh(ex-showroom, Delhi). The price drop on Kwid ranges between ₹40,095 and 55,095, depending on the trim level chosen.

The Kiger compact SUV receives the steepest cut, with prices dropping between ₹53,695 and ₹96,395. The Kiger now starts at ₹5.76 lakh for the Authentic MT, while the top-end Emotion DT CVT 1.0L is listed at ₹10.33 lakh.

The Triber MPV has also seen a major reduction, with entry prices beginning at ₹5.76 lakh for the Authentic variant. The top-spec Triber Emotion AMT Dual Tone is now tagged at ₹8.59 lakh. Depending on the variant, the price reduction on the Triber ranges from ₹53,695 and
₹80,195.

By passing the drop in prices, thanks to the GST revision, directly to customers, Renault can look forward to an absolute bonanza in sales with the peak festive season just around the corner, especially because it has just recently refreshed both the Kiger and Triber for the Indian market
