Renault India has joined the growing list of automakers announcing major price cuts following the recent GST reduction on passenger vehicles.

The company confirmed on September 6 that prices of its cars will drop by as much as Rs 96,395, with the revised pricing applicable to all bookings immediately and effective for deliveries made on or after September 22, 2025. The cuts span across the entire Renault lineup, including the Triber, Kiger, and Kwid.

Triber

The Renault Triber, already one of the most affordable 7-seater offerings in India, sees significant price corrections. Entry-level variants such as the Authentic are now cheaper by Rs 53,695, while the top-end Emotion AMT DT gets the steepest cut of Rs 80,195. With revised prices ranging between Rs 5.76 lakh and Rs 8.59 lakh, the Triber becomes even more compelling for budget-conscious families looking for a practical, spacious vehicle.

Prices for entry trims now start at Rs 5.76 lakh after a Rs 53,695 cut, while higher-spec turbocharged CVT variants see reductions of up to Rs 96,395, bringing the top-end Emotion CVT DT down to Rs 10.33 lakh. This aggressive price positioning could make the Kiger one of the most value-for-money options in the sub-compact SUV market.
