Renault Kiger Facelift Set To Launch Soon With New Features
The Renault Kiger has recently been updated with new features and variant combinations. The facelifted version of this subcompact SUV is anticipated to debut in India soon. Meanwhile, its sibling, the Nissan Magnite, received a minor facelift in October 2024. The Renault Kiger facelift is expected to be launched later in 2025.
Similar to the Nissan Magnite facelift, the Renault Kiger facelift is likely to maintain a silhouette akin to the current model. Expected changes include slimmer, horizontally aligned LED DRLs, a redesigned radiator grille, and a reshaped front bumper. A shark fin antenna might also be added as a key feature.
Other anticipated exterior highlights include new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and clear-lens LED taillights. The bumper is expected to be reworked, along with a roof-mounted spoiler. Additionally, the facelifted Kiger might feature a rear wiper and washer, an integrated number plate section within the bumper, and an updated Renault logo.
The cabin of the Renault Kiger facelift is expected to remain largely unchanged from its predecessor. Like the Nissan Magnite facelift, it will likely retain the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.
Inside, key features such as push-button start, rear AC vents, automatic climate control, keyless entry, adjustable headrests, and front and rear armrests are anticipated. A different colour theme for the cabin might also be introduced in this update.
In terms of powertrain options, the Renault Kiger facelift is expected to continue with the same engines as the current model. These include a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
The Renault Kiger's updates aim to enhance both its aesthetic appeal and functionality while retaining its core design elements. As anticipation builds for its launch in 2025, potential buyers can look forward to these improvements without drastic changes to its overall character.
