Renault Group Appoints Duncan Minto As Interim Chief Executive Officer Amid Leadership Transition

Duncan Minto, who is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Renault Group, will temporarily step into the role of Chief Executive Officer for Renault S.A. Jean-Dominique Senard will take on the role of Chairman of Renault s.a.s. during this interim period. The search for a permanent CEO is already in progress.

The Board of Directors at Renault Group has appointed Duncan Minto as interim CEO starting July 15, 2025. He will manage daily operations alongside Jean-Dominique Senard, who will serve as Chairman of Renault s.a.s., the Group's operating company. This arrangement will continue until a new CEO is appointed.

Duncan Minto Named Interim CEO of Renault Group

With a career at Renault Group beginning in 1997, Minto brings extensive financial expertise and insight into the company's challenges. The Governance and Remuneration Committee is actively overseeing the selection process for the new CEO of Renault S.A.

Minto was born in 1975 and graduated from Scotland's University of St Andrews. He began his journey with Renault Group in the UK in 1997. By 2001, he had joined the Finance Department in France, focusing on investor relations.

In 2006, Minto became Finance Director for Renault-Nissan Portugal and later took on the role of Managing Director for Renault Ireland in 2012. His career progressed further when he became CFO for the Asia-Pacific region in 2013.

Recent Roles and Responsibilities

In 2017, Minto advanced to VP Finance, Group Control Analysis. He then served as CFO for Dacia in 2022 before moving to Alpine as CFO in 2023. On March 1, 2025, he was named Chief Finance Officer of Renault Group and joined its Leadership Team.

Renault Group plans to release its half-year results on July 31. The company remains committed to innovation and sustainability through its four brands: Renault, Dacia, Alpine, and Mobilize.
