Renault Duster Spied Testing in Bengaluru Ahead Of Upcoming Launch - India Specific Design Changes?
The Renault Duster has been spotted testing on Indian roads once again, this time by Rushlane in Bengaluru. The latest spy pis of the camouflaged test mule of the Renault Duster reveals a mix of design elements already seen on the global version.
At the rear, the new Renault Duster shows V-shaped tail lamps, a raked windshield, roof rails, a shark-fin antenna, and a rear wiper-washer setup. The newest spy shots also reveal thick cladding around the wheel arches, highlighting the SUV's rugged stance even under the camouflage wrap.

Compared to the international model, the India-spec Duster sports what appears to be a different rear bumper design, with deeper cuts and fresh styling. The Duster's alloy wheels are also expected to be India-specific.
Previous spy shots of the Duster test mule suggest a familiar design with an upright grille flanked by Y-shaped LED DRLs, along with a sculpted bonnet. Other details include polygonal wheel arches, blacked-out B-pillars, conventional door handles, and large outside mirrors with integrated turn indicators.
Internationally, the Renault Duster comes with multiple powertrain options. These include a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol mild-hybrid producing around 128hp, a 1.6-litre petrol strong-hybrid generating roughly 138hp, and a 1.0-litre petrol-LPG unit with an output of 98hp.
The India-spec Duster is expected to include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 7-inch digital driver display, wireless smartphone connectivity, dual-zone climate control, and over-the-air software updates. Safety kit will extend to six airbags, ESC, tyre pressure monitoring, and a 360-degree camera, among others.
Renault is preparing both five-seater and seven-seater versions of the new Duster for India. While the five-seat model is expected to launch first, either later this year or next year, with the larger three-row variant expected to follow later in 2026.
Launch pricing for the new-gen Renault Duster for India is likely to start in the ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom) price point, and it will be positioned against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and other mid-size SUVs.
